Level 5 qualification, the HND (equivalent to the second year of a UK Bachelor’s Degree) with an embedded level 4 qualification, the HNC - Leading to the final year of a Bachelor's Programme.
HND in Human Resource Management prepares you for employment in HRM or progression to further education by helping to develop the foundational knowledge of Human resource management theories and related concepts.
HND in Business (HRM) provides an introduction to the main areas of human resource management, including the human resource management role and function. This knowledge is then built on to give a broader perspective of human resource management practices. Topics covered include the role of training and employee development and employment relationships on an organisational and national level, including industrial conflict, the resolution of disputes and negotiation.
The credits earned on an HND are equivalent to the first two years of an undergraduate programme, many universities in the UK and internationally can give you a place on the third or final year of a degree course (instead of making you start at the beginning).
